Dear Little Aidan
We only had you for a few hours but we will miss you forever. You were too tiny and special to stay
on this earth. Angels only take the precious ones.
You were very poorly, you had a severe case of a condition called PUV (Posterior Urethral Valves)
which ment your kidneys were serverly damaged due to your bladder being blocked, because of this you
had no fluid to swim around in which ment your lungs wouldnt of developed properly. There was
nothing that the docs could of done for you as your fluid level was zero, so we made the hard
decision to have you born early and to end your suffering.
I know you will be looked after in heaven by great-grandad Wilson and great-uncle Keith.
Mummy was so excited to be pregnant again and was really hoping you would be a little boy, at least
i got my wish even if it was only for a few hours. We will make sure we tell your big sister all
about you one day you looked just like her! So so beautiful!
You were also a very special boy as you had an extra set of ribs!! This is only seen in 1 in 1000
people!!!
You ment the world to me baby boy and i will never ever forget those precious hours with you.
Mummy's and Daddy's hearts will ache and miss you everyday untill we meet again.
Why do bad things have to happen to good people?? Sleep peacefully gorgeous boy.

I thought of you and closed my eyes and prayed to god today,
I asked what makes a mother and I know I heard him say,
A mother has a baby this we know is true,
but god can you be a mother when youre baby's not with you?
Yes you can, came his reply with confidence in his voice,
I give so many women babies, when they leave it's not there choice,
some I send for a lifetime, and others for a day,
and some I send to feel your womb but theres no need to stay.
I just dont understand this god, I want my baby here,
he took a breath and cleared his throat and then I saw a tear,
I wish I could show you what your child is doing today,
if you could see your child smile with other children and say,
we go on earth to learn our lessons of love and life and fear,
my mummy loved me so much I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a mum who has so much love for me,
I learned my lessons very quick, my mummy set me free,
I miss my mummy oh so much but I visit her each day,
when she goes to sleep on her pillows, this is where I lay,
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear,
mummy dont be sad today im your baby and im here.
so you see dear sweet one, your children are ok,
your babies are here in my home and this is where they'll stay,
they'll wait for you with me until your lessons are through,
and on the day that you come home they'll be at the gates for you.
so you see what makes a mother, its the feeling in your heart,
its the love you had so much of, right from the very start,
though some on earth may not realise until their time is done
remember all the love you have and know that you are
a special mum................
